fripodding and time-traveling: melanie fiona

If you’ve been following the Indoob for the greater part of the year thus far, you would know that I’m always on the look out for music that sounds as though it belonged to a previous era, like the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. A particular soul and/or funk sound that I would probably trade the Internet for in order to literally go back in time to enjoy it first hand. I think that would also mean I’d have to experience polyester and bell bottoms… but its okay. I’m sure I could rock them well. At least my hair would be ready too.

I first heard about Melanie Fiona last year while she was still, uh “new.” I saw her perform on Carson Daly’s late night show and kept telling myself “write down her name.” Sad to say, I never did and I forgot. I loved what I heard and saw, and wanted more but couldn’t remember her name.

But thanks to Amazon.com recommendations and a special shout out to an old high school friend, Sara, who apparently has a cool gig at a radio station. A couple weeks ago, during my search for new music, I was at a crossroads narrowing down artists and who I would spend my money on. Sara said some good things about Melanie Fiona which pretty much solidified the vote, and I’m here to say that I agree. So thanks again, Sara.

So what’s so great about Fiona? Well her voice, most importantly. This is what singing should sound like. Her voice doesn’t sound the same in every song, in a word: versatility. A more dramatic example would be hearing the difference in Maxwell’s voice when he sings “Pretty Wings.” But I’m gonna get lost on a tangent talking about him so let’s stop while we’re ahead. But voice is important to me. If I hear your song on the radio, I don’t want to question: “Is that so-and-so… or so-so-and-so?” My favorite artists stand out, and have a very recognizable voice. Yet I’m still not quite a Macy Gray fan. I’m just saying, maybe not my style.

But speaking of style, she’s definitely of the “old school” variety. I think you can tell when some of these singers (and songwriters) grow up listening to the sounds of yesteryear. Not only do they sing like they belong on a 60’s stage, but their band sounds that way too. I really think it has to do with the use of horns, among other instruments, and a particular beat. While I don’t really like to compare, the first time I listened to her album, it reminded me of Solange Knowels, which isn’t really a bad thing, but I like Melanie better. No offense.

A few of her songs are more contemporary, and actually a few of them go along more towards the reggae side. I’m not hating on that whatsoever. I’m a fan of Bob Marley, so how can I? These songs aren’t my favorite, but I’m not likely to skip over them either.

The songs that seem to get the heaviest rotation are “Johnny” and “Walk on By.” These are the songs that have that retro feel that I love. These songs are fast, fun, and tell an interesting story. Not necessarily happy stories, but storytelling nonetheless is another thing I love in music. By the way, “Please Don’t Go (Cry Baby)” sounds like a song stolen from the Supremes, and that gets two thumbs up from me. And how can I not mention “Give It to Me Right” which has an excellent sample from The Zombies “Time of the Season.” I love that song. In fact, I think I will possibly rewrite a scene in a screenplay I’ve been working on and change The Zombies song into Fiona’s song. Maybe. “Monday Morning” gets a lot of repeats too.

Going back to Maxwell for a second, she is touring with him at certain locations. Check out Maxwell’s site (www.musze.com) for more info. If they were coming to my town, I would’ve had my ticket yesterday ago. And actually, Maxwell is coming to my area with Jill Scott. I have nothing against her, but I’m not as interested in seeing her as I am in seeing Melanie. The irony is, even now, I have yet to watch any of Melanie’s music videos. I know there are a few out there. But sooner than later that will change.

“iron man 2” movie review

So far, this summer, Iron Man 2 had been the most satisfying summer blockbuster I’ve seen that I’ve wanted to see. To sum it up in one word, which I know I use this word a lot, but: fun. I enjoyed the ride this movie took me on. The witty and humorous dialogue, the action, the special effects, the star power, I just enjoyed all of it.

Except, and it must be said, Terrance Howard. No offense to the brilliant and underrated Don Cheadle, but I truly miss Howard’s original “Rhodey.” I understand a bunch of problems happened… details aren’t clear to me now… but what’s done is done. Cheadle did a good job nonetheless.

How about Mickey Rourke playing the strong silent type? A quick note before I continue, before this movie, and even before the first one, I wasn’t very familiar with the baddies. In fact, I still don’t know a lot about the Iron Man franchise other than what I see in the movies and Wikipedia. But Whiplash is a pretty mean dude. It was awesome seeing him work in the lab, but I think I would’ve liked to see a little more whipping and thrashing. Although, I must be honest, he did pose a serious threat at the end of the film than just his whips that did more than tickle. My friend and I briefly discussed the ending. The argument made: it wasn’t quite satisfying enough. And perhaps there is a point to be made, but by discussing it further would require spoiling what actually happens. And I won’t do that today.

But let’s talk RDJ and what awesomeness he brings to this film. Well, that’s enough said right there, no? He’s the ultimate party guy. Billionaire playboy. Race car driver. Oh yeah, and he’s brilliant when it comes to weapons and computer devices. I don’t think I really need it, but I want his computer, or, um, garage? It’s full of awesome holograms! Forget touchscreen. And whatever that device is he has in the opening scenes at court… I want that too! But I remember being warned we’d start to see some of his downfall. I guess the great Tony Stark starts to become an alcoholic at some point. (This happens in the comics, at least.) Something we will have at least two more films to see if that happens.

Whatever could I mean by that? Iron Man was just the beginning of starting the Avengers franchise. To those unfamiliar with who the Avengers are, consider it like the X-Men (also by Marvel Comics), but not necessarily mutants and working for the government, to some degree. Well, in 2012, the Avengers will have their own movie after a series of other movies coming before or after it, including Thor, Captain America, Nick Fury and Iron Man 3. Not to mention the past 2 Iron Mans and The Incredible Hulk. Word on the street, Ant-Man will also have a movie too. All of these characters, plus a few more, will appear in The Avengers. To the best of my knowledge, I don’t think anything like this has happened before, and for that, it’s rather exciting. Not to mention the all-star cast? Look at me gushing; let’s stick to Iron Man 2 for now.

With all of that said, stick around after the credits for a teaser. I felt it was rewarding. But then again, I’m a movie fanboy and amateur comic book geek.

Scarlett Johansson was great… I’m not sure if there’s more I need to say. Although she isn’t referred to as her “Black Widow” name, I was under the impression she would play a villain. But again, I’m an amateur at these comic book stories and don’t know all the characters, good or bad.

Sam Rockwell rocks any character he plays so well. And he seems to really enjoy dancing. You’ll notice this when the film gets to its climax. I guess you can say he plays the main villain, although Whiplash (who actually is never called that in the film) always seems to have the upper hand and pose more of a threat to just about anyone who may cross his path.

For the most part, you can survive seeing this movie without the first one, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s a lot of character building in part 1 that helps to further build in part 2. I can only wait and wonder what part 3 has in store. Also, it’s safe for kids, so bring them and enjoy. Until then, let’s wait for the mighty Thor.

“alejandro” music video review

I’m a day late but The Lady has does it again, bringing us another short music film from the depth of her creative, fashionable yet overall bizarre mind. It’s a wonder that we are rarely shocked by what she does anymore these days. We can just pass it off as “normal” for her. But anyone else would seem like they are crazy or now, a Gaga rip-off [cough] Xtina [cough]. I think I would be shocked if I saw her in jeans and t-shirt. Then again, how would we know that’s really her? She’d be hiding in plain sight… like a superhero’s disguise.

But depending on whom you ask Lady Gaga’s newest “Alejandro” video has a certain Madonna vibe to it. Homage or rip-off? Before I went to do any research for this video (and the story behind it) I came up with my own conclusions about it. My first impression: I’ll pass on this one. To start with, and to be fair, the song itself isn’t bad. I usually wouldn’t skip it if I were letting it play through. But it’s not a song I have a craving for like “Bad Romance” or “Monster” …which, those who have the album know “Alejandro” is in between these two songs, which is why I usually let it play through. I know other fellow Little Monster friends of mine have mixed feelings for the song itself too, and I think it’s important we talk about the song before we talk about the video.

From my understanding, the song itself is about Gaga’s Fear of the Sex Monster. Having heard the song so many times, I kinda forget the meaning behind the lyrics. I just don’t like to be caught singing about dudes–not that there’s anything wrong with that [hands up]! The song had also been compared to Madonna, as the artist has many a time. I’m sure she’s admitted to being inspired by her. What female pop artist isn’t influenced by her? On top of all of that, they even appeared in a SNL skit together! Ok, just had to get that out of the way.

Now my first watching of the video had me scratching my head. Well, I was actually playing with my hair… but I was doing it out of confusion, struggling to figure out what was going on. Maybe a little bit of discomfort. I think I was looking for some kind of a plot line like many of her videos seem to have. The video I personally hold all her other videos to is “Bad Romance” which does have something resembling a plot, but I enjoyed that video the most due to the song and visuals. “Telephone” most definitely had a story, but I didn’t like the song. I think I’m still on the fence with that one. But not every video needs a plot, right? Perhaps this is just some artsy statement short film. And to some degree, it is.

From songfacts.com: The song’s music video was directed by the photographer Steven Klein. Gaga discussed with The London Times May 22, 2010 it’s concept. She explained it is about the “purity of my friendships with my gay friends, and how I’ve been unable to find that with a straight man in my life. It’s a celebration and an admiration of gay love – it confesses my envy of the courage and bravery they require to be together. In the video I’m pining for the love of my gay friends – but they just don’t want me.”

So there is meaning towards what’s shown onscreen… but it’s up to the viewer to wrap their head around it and if you can understand it. To me, it’s like interpretive dance. They say it speaks for itself. But I guess it helps if you knew the same language.

But before I got any hint of what this was about, the imagery was striking… not all of it in a good way. I’m not a fan of anything looking too depressing and dystopian (yet I loved Dark City and The Matrix, I have exceptions). The homosexuality didn’t bother me. The simulated acts didn’t either. If anything I just nodded my head as if to say “Okay.” You know, in that way that you don’t really understand but you’re agreeing to go along with the ride anyway. Meanwhile, in the back of my head, I’m saying “I’ve seen this before…” And that’s when Madonna comes back to mind. “Vogue“, “Human Nature” and “Like a Prayer.” I didn’t feel this was a rip-off, more like homage, yet with her Gaga-spin on it. Giving credit where credit is due. However I think I actually laughed out loud at the sight of her “guns.” Someone got an upgrade from “Bad Romance.”

Speaking of ending to video endings, this was ended on a creepy note. Or was it just me?

Her outfits and head gear seemed more tame than usual. Is it weird that I miss the caution tape? I did kinda like her goggle-things she kept playing with. I would wear that. I don’t know why, where, or with what. I’d make it work. The color red must be of some importance in this video. Just throwing that out there. But if you are looking for more info, the Wikipedia page is updated.

Overall, I’d have to say this is one of my least favorite videos from the Monster collection thus far. The song probably has something to do with it. Maybe if it was “Monster” I could roll with it, I love that song. But if it were a take it or leave it, I would leave it. I’m not bashing or hating this video, I’m just saying, it’s not for me. But kudos anyway to Lady Gaga for giving us something to talk and think about, you will forever be a conversation piece of our arts and entertainment coffee table.

a few blogs to follow (especially if you like food)

Not that I have thousands of people visiting the Indoob, but if I did, I’d want them to check out some of the other blogs I like to follow and read. If the truth is told, I’m not able to read all the blog I follow all the time due to… well… life. But when I get the chance, I read what I can.

With that, I like to take this time to “introduce” a few blogs I’ve become aware of over the past couple weeks. Actually, one of them has been established for some time, I just can’t remember if I talked about it or not, but whatever.

Tip/Check – First, is my dearest friend who is a waitress at a seafood restaurant. She does the best she can being the best server possible, yet at the end of the day, she has little to show for it. Rather than take it out on customers, she rants and vents on the interwebs in hopes that patrons worldwide would treat waiters and waitresses with a little more respect… and actually tip, at least the minimum. On occasion, she writes about delicious foods she’s either made or encountered outside of work.

what i’m eating – This is a friend of mine by the name of Kelly… a girl I met a few years back that made these superb cupcakes and I’ve been stalking her ever since. She’s since moved to Philly, but may perhaps take a trip to my neck of the woods to help for a possible Oscar party 2011. Anyway, her blog is all about more delicious foods she’s either made or… well… eaten. She’s got excellent photography on said foods as well as descriptions about them. And for anyone interested, she provides where those foods she ate can be found.

I Told You I Was Sick – Another long time friend, collaborator on various projects such as writing, film making and other stuff, Jaime, started a website about being healthy. She’s one of those highly multi-talented types, so why not start a blog, right? She also discusses food and how to live with eating the right kinds of foods, especially if you might have allergies to what many foods contain. To call it a blog isn’t quite correct since she includes resources, references and reviews for many products and natural ways to a healing lifestyle.

Those are all the links I have for you today. For more fun, be sure to check the side bar for other friends of mine. Fortunately, I have the pleasure of saying I’ve met the three bloggers above personally and have hung out with them one time or another. Kudos to me.

fripodding and keying: “brothers” album by the black keys

So lately I’ve been going on, and on about The Black Keys… maybe after today I’ll shut up about them for a little while. But why would I when I hear music I can’t put down? Literally. In fact, iSaac and I have been fighting about whether to continue playing James Hunter or The Black Keys (when in reality, I could just make a playlist featuring both, but that would be too easy).

While I may be a few weeks late from the actual release date of this album, you should know by now that it takes me a few days–sometimes a few weeks–to really dig into an album to truly enjoy it. Such is the case with The Black Keys’ latest: Brothers.

This is the first album I bought from them, but not the first song. I’ll more than likely in the near future begin investigating more of their back catalog. I’m actually trying to write a short review here, so the key songs I love that currently aren’t released as singles that I haven’t talked about are: “Sinister Kid”, “The Go Getter”, “Unknown Brother”, and a top favorite “Everlasting Light”.

I can listen to this album without skipping songs. For me, this tends to be an album that slips into the background of whatever I’m doing, which is a good thing. I also like listening to this album while driving, especially the upbeat tracks. This album, as well as the band and their particular brand of blues-rock, is perfect for the summer. Their music produces heat, or at least helps you sweat.  Sounds a bit odd, now that I mention it. But working out or driving around in the high noon sun, and I think you might understand what I’m talking about.

quitting facebook may help the oil spill…

Click the link and buy a t-shirt like this to show your support!

Top Killed
That is a completely false title for this post, by the way. As far as I’m concerned, Facebook in no way shape or form would contribute to the stop of the ever present oil spill. And in case you haven’t heard, you can watch the leak live by pressing that link. Today, they’ve been working on “Plan D” or “Plan E” …I lost count. But if you are like me, you don’t have a good feeling about this and hate BP a little bit more each day. I almost want to throw rocks at the cars I see filling up at BP stations. But I won’t. Yet.

Meanwhile, businesses in the Gulf continue to suffer. My heart goes out to seafood places. I’m not crazy about fish, but I love me some shrimp. I’m not too excited with the possibility of having to pay more for my beloved shrimpies.

And how many people knew Top Kill would be a joke? I was hoping it would work, but I didn’t really think it would. Top Kill and Junk Shot sounded like fighting combos in a video game. To a few other friends, they also sounded like bad porno titles (is there really any good ones?) or drug terms.

Face out of the Book
In other news, today is Quit Facebook Day. To celebrate, people are either just finding out about it, or telling others about it. But actually quitting it? I doubt that. If the truth is told, I’ve already read a handful of my own Facebook friends declare they are deleting their accounts for one reason or another (usually saying they will “do it tomorrow”) and the short story is, they are still one of the millions of members Facebook has. I’m wondering if Quit Myspace Day would have better numbers. That is, of course, for those who still have a Myspace account.

25 Cent
Rapper/actor 50 Cent lost a scary amount of weight for a movie he’s filming about a football player who has cancer. Is it just me, or do you think he’s trying to get an Oscar? Does techniques like this work to get the Academy’s attention? Or is this more like The Machinist? (I didn’t like that movie by the way, and Christian Bale looked creepy as stank.) I’ll keep a look out for any buzz, but for now it just seems scary.
I don’t know if this counts like Tom Hanks vs. Cuba Gooding “never going full retard.” (Tropic Thunder)

It’s in his jeans
Look what Huggies is doing this summer:

Disturbing and hilarious. This had me LOLing in disbelief. Yet, with each viewing, it gains awesomeness. So it’s a commercial I had to share. TIME has the story.

Anyway, that’s all the news I have for now. Well, news I needed to share but didn’t want to bother everyone on Facebook and Twitter with every single musings I had on every subject I read. This way, you get it all in one single download. By the way, Happy Memorial Day. Continue to support the troops even if you don’t support the cause.

fripodding and hunting: “the hard way” album by james hunter

Click to preview and/or buy!

I told you a few weeks ago that I’d be talking about this The Hard Way, and here it is. I had been listening to this album for the greater part of about 3 weeks now, so I had more than enough time to wrap my head around the concepts of these songs, Hunter’s style, and all that good stuff.

As I said in the “Mollena” post, I discovered James Hunter while at Ruby Tuesdays by way of the nifty Shazam app on my Droid. I identified two songs I really liked and was surprised that the same artist was responsible for both. The other song in question was and is still a current favorite: “Carina.” Before I jump into analyzing song by song, I just want to say that the album as a whole has an awesome retro soul/R&B/blues/rock ‘n’ roll feel that I absolutely love. Some of it feels tinged with a Latin twist, or maybe I’m confusing it with something else. Perhaps it’s just Hunter’s guitar? I know I love Hunter’s voice. There are very specific times he does interesting things with it while singing. “Fluttering” is the best word I can think of to describe whatever it is he’s doing. I’ll note when this happens in the songs mentioned (“She’s Got a Way” has a lot of this fluttering). I’m not listing every song here, but most of them I like a lot more than others. I can listen to this entire album beginning to end, but I’m inclined to skip over one or two to get to one in particular… or keep one on repeat. Also, there a number of his songs that are half instrumentals

The Hard Way–The title track is a cautionary tale of sorts. Except, the song doesn’t actually state what’s being cautioned, so you can interpret it any way you’d like. There’s an easy way and there’s a hard way… and for some reason, you decided to take the hard way and now you are in pain or regret when you were advised there’s another way. Besides ambiguous lyrics, I find the music upbeat and fun. This song is a great way to introduce this artist especially if you’ve never heard of him, or heard him at all, which is probably why it’s track 1.

Carina–This song gives a very happy and positive feeling. This is one that I felt had a Latin-esque vibe to it. Perhaps by Latin, I also mean island-sounding. Like when you think of the Caribbean. I love the lyrics to this song. A nice little love song to a girl named Carina to hurry up and show that you feel the same way or else… As much as I love this song, there’s not much I can say about it. Maybe because this is one of those songs I have on repeat? I mean this song is what made me buy the album.

Hand It Over–This song didn’t pop out to me the first couple of times I listened to it. In retrospect, it’s a nice companion piece to “Carina” for the fact that the singer is still trying to get his potential love’s attention, or at least to reciprocate his love for her. It also has that island sound going on. What’s nice about this song, besides the gentle groove of course, is that in the chorus he implies that he won’t try any “funny business”, or at least that’s how I interpret it. Once I got lost in the song’s melody, it became one of the “repeats” of the album.

Jacqueline–This song was the second song I heard from this album and further proved to me that this guy is singing from another era. He channels Little Richard and some of doo-wop sounds of the 50’s or 60’s. As for the song, this is about a girl who changed the life of the singer in a profound and positive way. Possibly a “Carina” after she “Hands It Over”? (Wow, reading that out of context implies something else entirely.) Anyway, this is a fun song with some high energy.

Class Act–The chorus is what got me for this song. It has a Sam Cooke vibe too it. As I said before, once you channel Cooke, I’m pretty much onboard with anything else you have to offer. The song is cool. I gotta be honest, even now I’m not entirely sure what this song is about. I haven’t listened to the words that often on this one, even now. Sad, I know.

Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere–What I dislike about this song is how short it is. I love this song though and falls more into the blue genre. An up-tempo song about the singer returning back home to his lover, should she let him back in, of course. This is another song where I feel Hunter really exercises his voice, or at least his expressions and pleadings to this woman. For the sake of all that’s decent in the world, lady, please let this man return!

Believe Me Baby–Ray Charles much? I mean that as a compliment actually. This is another song I will confess I really only listen to for the music. It’s also another song that’s partially instrumental… so I think it’s understandable why I’m not as interested in what the song is about (which is more or less about convincing a woman that the singer is worth the time). When he does sing, there’s some “fluttering” happening here that’s pretty cool.

Strange But True–To me, this is the last song on the album and is very appropriate. (In actuality, the last song is live song that I’m not too crazy about and usually skip over.) I like this song due to it’s’ “man and his guitar” simplicity. In fact, I could sum this song up in that word: simple. But of course I mean that in a very good way. As for the meaning of the song, when I first was listening through the album (usually just for musicality’s sake), I was under the misinterpretation that the song was saying how strange it was to be in love with his woman for as long as he has been, perhaps thinking he’d possibly fallen out of love over time or would have. Even that concept would make for an interesting song, but alas, that’s not what this song is about. Instead, it’s about a man who realizes that long after the relationship has ended, he is still in love. It’s a sad song, but it doesn’t really feel that sad. To me, it’s more like “here are the facts, take from it what you will and maybe, possibly, you might feel the way, but if not, oh well.” So in short, it’s sad but also optimistic. Overall, I get a Sam Cooke vibe again from it, so I knew I would be listening to this song several times… and I have.

And overall, I’d say this album is one of those rare gems that you never knew existed and find by accident. You’d find this in the sea of 2008(!). While Joss Stone is probably better known than James Hunter, I still consider her a rare gem, but better known and accessible. (Just so we have an idea of what celebrity I’m talking about: The Beatles > Elton John > Joss Stone > James Hunter.) The point of the matter is this: if you love soul, good singing, good music and looking for that retro feel, than this is another artist worth checking into and buying.

tightening up: which is better?

Okay, so it’s not really a question of which one you like more, but more of me showcasing and obsessing over some new music by an epic two-man blue-rock band iSaac had been harboring for the greater part of 2-3 years called The Black Keys. Granted, I only had one song, but I can figure out a good music when I hear it. Such a shame it took me so long to get around to checking them out.

Anyway, I bought their newest album Brothers yesterday and have already found a few tracks I got stuck on repeat. But I’m not here to give a friPod post. I just want to share two or three of their music videos from this album and ask out of the following two, what do you think is better?

The “official”?

Or the “unofficial” featuring Frank the Funkasaurus Rex?

Since I got to introduce Frank, I can show you this one. I would probably say this is NSFW… but what do I really care since I can’t read my own blog at my job anyway.

Really I just wanted to show the first two and get a tally of which was better. But how could I ignore girls and dinosaur puppets?

fripodding and graduating: “everybody’s free (to wear sunscreen)” – baz luhrmann

‘Tis the season for graduating. So I found it fitting to have this song/video/spoken word piece for this post.

When I was younger and first heard this “song”, I found it kinda funny in somewhat of a sophomoric immature kinda way, to be honest. And I think a lot of my friends found it to be more on the silly side too. But we were young kids then (about 10-11 years ago), and we didn’t understand truly what was being said here. I don’t want to get into specifics about who wrote it, why… but I do want to just reflect that what’s said still rings true today. These words to live by, if you will. And I hope you do.

Call me crazy, but I started listening to this over and over again one day, almost committing it to memory. Why? For one thing, things like this sound so poetic to me, and I’m a sucker for poetry. Another thing, these are wise words that should be remembered and passed down. Lastly, I plan to write my own version of this. Maybe not necessarily Chris Rock style comedy, but something nonetheless to show that I’ve garnered some wisdom over these years that I can share with others.

And this is, in a sense, a message to a graduating class, letting them know what to expect in life. And since it’s graduating season (for college, anyway), I felt that this would be an appropriate send off. Besides all of that, I had recently heard this about a month ago and have been waiting to post a friPod about it. This seemed like an opportune time more than any, so why not?

So I’d like to say to those graduating (high school, college, business school, etc), congratulations! Wear sunscreen and live your life to the fullest. I’m more than sure many of you have many goals and dreams you’d like to accomplish and it’s my hopes, dreams and prayers that you do indoob succeed. Perhaps next year around this time I will have Oh, the Places You’ll Go committed to memory instead, but my message would remain the same. Namaste!

my (possible) 2010 fall schedule

The 2010 TV Fall schedules are out for the big networks. Here’s my Schedule. (Opens a PDF file.) One of many notes: I don’t watch that much TV. So this is tentative.

I didn’t make a key, but the light blue is what I already watch and will probably/possibly return to watching. The light green are new shows I plan to watch or at least check out. All of this is subject to change… so I’ll let you know in September/October how much I actually stuck to this plan.

As for details on the shows… I’ll get back to you later on that. I have a few months to figure it out. Plus I have yet to figure cable shows. And, of course, I might not be home to be a couch potato. In the meantime, I’ll be seeing what could fill my void since LOST is over. I might need more than one show… we’ll see.
