a poem: "tour de force"

I captured you against your own will.
You want to resist but can’t sit still.
I’m shooting my shotgun at your feet.
Your head bobs trying to dodge the beat.
There’s no lacking the cracking of whips.
There’s no faking the shaking of hips.
Work you off the wall to the floor by force.
You’re my slave and that’s my tour de force.

This one is excellent! You’ve got internal rhymes, alliteration, and assonance, plus it’s short and sweet. Awesome poem, and it’s fun. Are you going to reveal what it’s about?

  2. ScreenwritingforHollywood says:

You wrote that? You go! It sounds very naughty.

  3. t.sterling says:

It’s about music, and music is a sexy slavemaster.

DISCLAIMER: Once again, audio issues plague the pod as Sterling attempts a new recording method. Please bear with us, we apologize for the cutting in and out. Also, we learned the odd scratching sound is Kortney’s necklace!  As for the episode itself, special guest Clarkisha Kent joins the pod and talks about the Kent Test she created and if it would be a go […]

Kortney and Sterling flip roles again in this episode. Sterling recaps the Oscars and announces the scores from the Oscar predictions from the last episode. The BHF for this episode is all about Madam CJ Walker. Later, Kortney and Sterling list off their favorite words, whether it’s the meaning or just words they like to say out loud but don’t get to use ver […]
