five years

As I find myself on the verge of yet another unanticipated life change, I can’t help but think about those questions that ask you where you see yourself in so many years. The usual magically round number is five years. And after the past few years I can’t help but shake my head and laugh whenever I think about that question. I understand the point of the question, but I just can’t wrap my head around it after looking back at all the events that have led me to where I am now.

So where do I see myself five years from now? I have no clue but I hope I have a dog by then.

Regardless of whatever happens next, I’m sticking to Joshua 1:9.
