But my review for Gaga’s video definitely needs to be clearer, I think, and deserves it’s own dedicated post. But I agree with what you said and that’s what I admire about her. Especially with this song and the message she’s giving to her fans to be yourself and be who you want.

I don’t remember if I said it but it also made more sense when they showed her at the Grammys with bones sticking out, she had the same “makeup” in the video. So I sorta understood the connection there. But overall, def a Maddona, MJ, 80′s combo.

What I like best about Lady Gaga is that she goes deep and does ugly things; I love that about her. Other male and female stars have to be hotter than hot at all times and they never look how they really look: normal. Gaga on the other hand gets down right skeletal, as exhibited, so she often makes herself look worse than her normal natural self. I admire that. It takes courage to say F U to being a beauty pageant queen. Every time actresses take the ugly role, they always win a Best Actress award. People love people who aren’t afraid to be ugly sometimes.
